About us

Chemische Fabrik Lehrte was founded in 1888. It has been a subsidiary of Merck KGaA since 2000. Right from the beginning CFL focused on high-purity salts and salt mixtures.

CFL produces inorganic materials that pose no threat to the environment or the residents of Lehrte.

The quality and environment management system is certified according to DIN EN ISO standard.

Todays employees ensure that high international quality standards are achieved.

Production encompasses steps such as crystallization, drying, mixing, grinding, homogenizing, sieving, and packaging. Capabilites exist to produce large as well as small quantities and batch sizes.
